Introducing B12 3.0

Today we’re introducing B12 3.0 — the most significant evolution of our platform to date.

B12 3.0 delivers that.

With B12 3.0, a coding agent generates a fully customized project for your idea. Instead of filling in a template or scaffold, the AI can shape pages, layouts, and functionality around what you describe.

Building B12 3.0 required a major shift in how our platform works. We replaced years of product refinements with a new generation experience powered by coding agents.

The result was a system capable of producing more customized and cohesive projects. It was also initially slower than the scaffold-based generation used in B12 2.0.

We wanted to know which experience customers would actually prefer, so we ran a randomized experiment. Some users saw the faster B12 2.0 generation flow, while others saw the new B12 3.0 experience.

The results surprised us. Customers chose to purchase sites generated with B12 3.0 at roughly twice the rate of the previous version.

The message was clear. People don’t just want faster tools. They want tools that help them build exactly what they have in mind.
